What the Bible says about Faith:

Hebrews, chapter 11

1: Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Romans, chapter 10

17: So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Romans, chapter 12

3: For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself
more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the
measure of faith.

Hebrews, chapter 12

2: Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him
endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Matthew, chapter 17

20: And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a
grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove;
and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Mark 11

22: And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23: For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou
cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith
shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24: Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them,
and ye shall have them.

Romans 1

17: For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall
live by faith.

2 Corinthians, chapter 5

7: (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

Hebrews, chapter 11

6: But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is,
and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

1 Peter, chapter 1

7: That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried
with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
8: Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy
unspeakable and full of glory:
9: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

1 John, chapter 5

4: For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world,
even our faith.

Matthew, chapter 9

20: And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and
touched the hem of his garment:
21: For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.
22: But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.

28: And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them,
Believe you that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord.
29: Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.

Mark, chapter 9

23: Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believes.

James 5

14: Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him,
anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
15a: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up;
