The Bible — Definition:
A Book of scripture including the Old Testament and the New Testament, which contains a history of God’s people, the birth, life and teachings of Jesus Christ, and many prophesies. Written by prophets to teach God’s commandments and laws to all people on earth.
Scriptural references are divided up into chapters and then verses, such as Genesis 1:10 would be the first chapter of Genesis, tenth verse.
