If God and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ were to send us notes from above — what might they say? What kind of messages would they have for us in these troubling and uncertain times? We truly believe that our God and Jesus have a sense of humor — after all — we do. The bible says that God created us in his own image — we also believe that he created us with many of his own emotions as well.

The mission of Notes Form Above is to take both a lighthearted and very serious look at a way of bringing this generation to a true knowledge of Jesus (Jesuha) and an understanding of God’s plan and purpose for their lives. We also want people to understand that one day we will all (yes us too) have to stand before our maker and his only begotten son Jesus (who shed his precious blood on the cross for us) and give an account for everything we have done in this life. After that account is given we will be lead by angels to one of two places — Heaven or Hell.

Satan – also known as the Devil has a major plan (that seems to be working very well) to make sure that you and others don’t ever get to know the TRUTH so that you all will spend eternity in Hell with him and the other demonic angels that were thrown out of heaven by God when they rebelled against him . We really don’t want to see anyone end up in Hell – but sadly many will – because they are being deceived everyday and in every way.

THE IMPORTANCE OF PURPOSE:

Proverbs 19:21 (NIV) 21 Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.

Isaiah 14:24 (NIV) 24 The Lord Almighty has sworn, “Surely, as I have planned, so it will be, and as I have purposed, so it will stand.

Isaiah 26:3 (GNB) 3 You, Lord, give perfect peace to those who keep their purpose firm and put their trust in you.

We believe the Bible is clear about God’s plan for the church. Here are two passages that summarize the church’s purpose:

Matthew 22:37-39 (NIV) 37Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ (38)This is the first and greatest commandment. (39)And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’

Matthew 28:19-20 (NIV) (19)Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Teach People to Live by God’s Word – “..teaching them…”

4. COMMUNITY
To Build a Community of Believers – “…baptizing them…”

5. MINISTRY
Help Christians Fulfill their Purpose – “Love your neighbor”
